Kylie Jenner is opening up about the difficult reality behind her second pregnancy for the very first time. During a recent candid podcast appearance, the Kylie Cosmetics founder revealed the intense physical complications she experienced while pregnant with son Aire, whom she shares with ex Travis Scott. Kylie Jenner admitted the pregnancy became so painful that she struggled to even walk by the time she reached 12 weeks.
The reality star detailed several health struggles she experienced while carrying Aire, whom she shares with ex Travis Scott. including severe sciatica pain, intense lower back pain, and constant nausea. “I had crazy sciatica pain and crazy lower back pain. I really wanted to work out,” Jenner shared on Jake Shane’s “Therapuss” podcast.
She added that she dealt with “horrible nausea” throughout the pregnancy and found herself constantly eating to cope with the discomfort before later revealing the situation became even more serious when she became three centimeters dilated months before giving birth.
“And lots of things were happening with my vagina,” she said. “I was three centimeters dilated for like a month and a half, two months, the baby was falling out.” The complications ultimately forced Jenner onto bed rest during the pregnancy.
Jenner Says She Gained 65 Pounds During Pregnancy
Jenner also got brutally honest about the physical changes she experienced while pregnant with Aire. According to the reality star, she gained 65 pounds during the pregnancy and weighed 210 pounds by the time she gave birth.
“I ate a pint of ice cream every night. I just dove right in,” she admitted. “I had lots of ice cream. Just lots of carbs. Bagels.”

Elsewhere in the podcast interview, Jenner reflected on becoming pregnant with daughter Stormi at just 19 years old. “I was freaking out. I was really scared to tell my parents. I was really scared,” she admitted. However, Jenner said her family ultimately reacted with support once she shared the news. “No one was mad,” she explained.
The reality star added that despite her fear, she instinctively knew she wanted to move forward with motherhood. “But there was something just inside of me that knew that I wanted to do this, and I had to make a decision for myself,” Jenner said. “And even if I have to do this alone, or however, this is the choice that I’m going to make.”
Jenner And Scott Split In 2023 After Years Of On-And-Off Romance
Jenner shares both of her children, Stormi and Aire, with rapper Travis Scott, whom she dated on and off for several years. The pair first sparked romance rumors in 2017 before welcoming daughter Stormi in February 2018. They later expanded their family with son Aire, who was born in 2022.
Despite continuing to appear together publicly and maintaining a close co-parenting relationship, Jenner and Scott officially split in January 2023. At the time, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Jenner was “not with” the rapper following the holiday season. “She spent the holidays in Aspen with her family,” the insider shared, while also noting, “[But] this is probably not the end of their relationship.”
According to the source, Jenner and Scott often struggled because they were focused on very different lifestyles. “Kylie is very focused on her kids and her business. She is not a big partier. Travis is the opposite. He likes to party,” the insider explained. “They definitely have different focuses. They always did.”
The source also claimed the relationship had long been unstable behind the scenes. “It’s always been very up and down,” the insider added, noting there was “a reason that they never got married.”

Since the breakup, she has moved on with actor Timothée Chalamet. The couple recently packed on the PDA during a date night at Madison Square Garden after fans accused Chalamet of skipping the Met Gala to attend an NBA playoff game instead of supporting Jenner.
Social media users criticized the actor after he once again chose a New York Knicks game over fashion’s biggest night, marking the second year in a row Jenner attended the Met Gala solo while Chalamet watched basketball.
Still, the pair appeared unbothered by the online chatter as they were later spotted looking affectionate together during their NYC outing.
