Five must-have Gameweek 37 transfer targets led by Isak and Gyokeres

FPL Gameweek 37 is here – two matches left and two chances to swing your rank. If you’re happy with your place, play safe and back the template; if you need climb, back upside and aggressive differentials. Below are five transfers I’d consider this week, written to help you weigh fixtures, minutes and ceiling vs. floor.

    Jarrod Bowen (7.7m)

The survival scrap means Bowen will be central to West Ham’s attacking threat once again, so he’s worth backing now. His shooting volume is modest but his creative involvement and set-piece duties keep his points floor high, and he has so many routes to points. Newcastle away followed by Leeds at home are manageable fixtures for a player who’s heavily involved for his team, making Bowen a reliable short-term hold with upside.

    Alexander Isak (10.3m)

Isak is a true differential – minutes have been inconsistent this season, but the upside is enormous when he’s given a full run. I expect Villa to rotate heavily ahead of the Europa League final, and if they do, Isak could profit from a soft defence. Liverpool need a win, so he’ll have motivation too. The underlying data hasn’t always screamed elite, but his finishing ability and single-match game-changing potential make him a tempting, high-risk, high-reward punt for managers chasing rank. Not for the faint hearted.

    Harry Wilson (5.9m)

Wilson is a slightly more sensible pick for managers after shots and set-piece involvement. Wolves up next and then Newcastle on the final day gives him decent double-chance fixtures, and Raul Jimenez’s inconsistent minutes mean Wilson could pick up penalty duties and regular set-piece involvement. He’s not in the best of form, but his combination of shots, free-kicks, corners and potential spot-kick responsibility gives him a clear purple patch ceiling.

    Viktor Gyökeres (9.0m)

Gyökeres is one of the most explosive short-term forwards you can target for the final two fixtures. Burnley at home is vital for the title race and goal difference could come into it. Gyökeres has been hugely involved in shots and chances recently. Since Gameweek 32 he’s third among all players for non-penalty xG creators in the league, plus no Arsenal player has taken more shots than him in that time. So if you want real haul potential rather than a steady trickle, he’s a top pick.

    Iliman Ndiaye  (6.2m)

Ndiaye is a classic late-season differential with several scoring routes: open play creativity, set pieces and potential penalties. Sunderland and Tottenham on paper are good fixtures to target due to his direct running and threat inside the box, and he’s shown an ability to produce match-winning moments. Both Sunderland’s and Tottenham’s positional weakness comes down Ndiaye’s flank. If he’s out of your budget, Kieran Dewsbury-Hall is a cheaper alternative who offers similar involvement and set-piece threat.
