His bowling has been equally concerning; against CSK, he leaked 30 runs in just 2 overs at an economy of 15.00. Fans have been quick to point out the disparity between his career IPL average of 36.33 and his current form, mocking the franchise for spending nearly a quarter of its purse on a player who has produced more ducks than boundaries in critical moments. As KKR sits at the bottom of the table with zero wins, the pressure on Green has reached a boiling point, with many questioning if he can ever justify his astronomical price tag.
