Ken Jennings is known to Jeopardy! fans as both a contestant and a host. However, he recently had a share involving another prominent game show. During the share, he also had some kind words to share about one game show hostess in particular.
Ken Jennings Could Recently Be Seen Alongside A Wheel Of Fortune Wedge
Jennings first became known to Jeopardy! fans as a contestant, winning 74 consecutive games during this time. However, in the 2020s, he would later return to the show as its permanent host, taking over for the late Alex Trebek.
Outside of the show, Jennings has also often shared a few stories both on and off the show with fans on social media. Recently, he had a share about another famous game show.
Recently, Jennings shared a photo of himself on Instagram, next to a huge $3,500 wedge from Wheel of Fortune. He captioned the post, “When in Los Angeles, don’t miss the chance to get a photo with the world’s largest $3,500 Wheel of Fortune space.”
When a fan asked where the photo was taken, Jennings explained that it was featured on the Sony Pictures Studio Tour. Fans can go on the Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune sets when the shows aren’t filming.
Jennings responded to quite a few of the comments on the post. Another fan shared, “Fun! Also, a shout-out for Vanna White, who has been on the show for 43 years. I remember the day I realized that long ago I was the same age as my kid, watching the same co-host.”
Jennings made sure to send some love to his fellow game show host. As he wrote in a comment, “Vanna is the absolute best.”
This Wasn’t The First Time Jennings Spoke Well Of Vanna White
While fans of the two shows often have a bit of a friendly rivalry, there is no bad blood between the cast of Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. Back in June 2025, Jennings spoke with TV Insider, and shared that White often says hello to him, since they share a hairstylist. He shared, “She is just the most delightful person, so sweet, unchanged by her decades of being a TV legend. She is the best.”
Jennings also had some kind words for White’s current co-host, Ryan Seacrest. With tongue firmly in cheek, Jennings joked, “I’m glad he didn’t go for Jeopardy! host because he might have gotten it.”

Since Jennings’ share, fans have been sharing their own reactions to the little backstage crossover. In particular, fans simply liked the game show stars having respect for each other’s shows.
Wheel of Fortune also appreciated the gesture. The show’s official Instagram account even shared, “This is everything to us,” complete with a blue heart emoji. Some other comments included:
-
- “Game (show) recognizes game(show).”
- “Oh, this must be why they say ‘big money.’”
- “You and Ryan should do a host swap for April Fools next year!”
- “Or is it the world’s smallest Ken Jennings?”
- “Ken, are you actually teasing a Jeopardy! & Wheel of Fortune crossover at Sony Pictures Studios?! ARE YOU?!”
