Season 7 of Unexpected has ended, but the drama is far from over. Falen Vaughn was arrested as the season was airing, yet no one was surprised. Now, she is begging for the judge to drop the charges as she is attempting to put the blame on the arresting officers. Keep reading for more details on what is going down.
Falen Vaughn Kept Fans On Edge
Unexpected fans did not feel good about Falen Vaughn when her daughter, Bella, was impregnated by Hunter Johnson, 13. Bella and Hunter were also very open about their intimate relationship, discussing it in front of their mothers. Moreover, some wondered if Falen had a thing for Hunter, as they would text and she encouraged Bella to stay with him even when she was uncertain about the romance. It also appeared that Hunter’s father, Casey, was a deadbeat, but he has proven that was not the case. Casey has since gained full custody of his son.
At the same time, Falen was arrested for unexpectedly showing up at Casey’s home, along with her husband, Kris. Hunter’s mother, Stacie Riddle, was also there, as well as Bella and her son, Wes. As for Falen, this is how authorities stated it went down, and they did have body cam footage:
“She was ripping my arms so I just… took her to the ground and put her in cuffs… she was running away from me, trying to get over into the middle of them and they were about to fight.”
It appears that Stacie was coming after Hunter’s stepmom, Brettney, while Kris Vaughn was driving recklessly in his truck. Falen tried to jump in but was handcuffed. Allegedly, even after the Unexpected star had been taken down, she was still cursing and trying to get in on the action.

A month later, Falen is asking for her criminal charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental operations to be dismissed. On Wednesday, May 20th, she filed a motion stating she was not “disobeying” anything. She is also disputing what the affidavit states and believes that there are a lot of lies written.
Misunderstanding
According to Falen Vaughn, Hunter Johnson was at his father’s and stepmother’s home and was on the phone with Bella. His stepmom allegedly snatched his phone, and that led to a physical altercation. The Unexpected star was screaming for Bella to call 9-1-1, which she did. Bella headed over there with her son, Wes, but was not able to leave, per the authorities. This is another reason Falen and Kris headed over there. Hunter had a phone provided to him by the Vaughns, which Casey Johnson did not approve of. That was why his stepmom, Brettney, took it away, and a battle ensued.
Falen also claimed her Miranda Rights were not read and that she was not belted into the police car. Unexpected fans do not believe that anything will happen, given that courts won’t want to deal with this.
