Mark Cuban isn’t known for being the biggest fan of President Donald Trump. However, the two seemed to have come together for a recent team-up. In fact, the president himself also had something to say about the situation.
Mark Cuban Previously Supported Hillary Clinton & Kamala Harris During Their Presidential Campaigns
Cuban is an entrepreneur and businessman. He is known for many ventures, from co-founding 2929 Entertainment to having served as a “shark” on ABC’s Shark Tank.
In the world of politics, Cuban actively supported Hillary Clinton for the presidency. He later endorsed Kamala Harris during the 2024 presidential election, even joining her on the campaign trail.
During these times, Cuban had actively campaigned against President Trump. In fact, before he shared his support for Clinton, there had even been speculation that he would be interested in running for president himself.
Despite this, the two have appeared to have mended their relationship. Cuban recently appeared next to Trump at an event celebrating TrumpRx. The two also appeared with HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Medicare and Medicaid administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz. According to the administration, TrumpRx will help Americans get cheaper access to prescription drugs.
During the event, Cuban expressed that people of various political backgrounds can find common ground in various issues. He shared, “Thank you for having me, Mr. President. I think, other than you, I’ve been the biggest proponent of TrumpRx.com.”
“The reason for that is, Republicans want cheaper drugs, independents want cheaper drugs, Democrats want cheaper drugs. And together, I think we’re gonna do something special.”
A Reporter Commented On Cuban’s Support, & The President Had A Response
Cuban’s past politics did not go unnoticed at the event. A reporter asked Trump, “It’s pretty remarkable seeing you and Mark Cuban up there, and the fact that, you know, obviously, Mark endorsed Kamala Harris back in 2024…” Trump cut the reporter off, sharing, “Well, he made a mistake. It was a big mistake.”
The president continued, “It says we love people, we love our country. He wants to — he’s got a good company, and he’s going to do a lot of business with us. And I’m gonna get drugs out through Amazon, through the whole group, and we’re gonna get drugs out.”

Trump noted, “Mark wanted to be a part of it, and I think Mark was very gracious. He said, ‘This is something that really works, the first time you’ve seen it.’” He added, “And he had to believe that if he said it about me, you have to understand that. But look, I have a lot of respect for Mark, frankly, and I always have.”
