Breanna Stewart is adding a new title to her resume. The two-time WNBA champion and Olympic gold medalist has teamed up with fast-casual salad chain Chopt to launch “Stewie’s Spicy Caesar,” a signature menu item named after the basketball star herself.

Chopt announced the collaboration this week with bold, basketball-forward copy on the brand’s official Instagram. The caption read: “Knockout mode: activated. Breanna Stewart didn’t miss…and our founders didn’t quit. Get your game on and try Stewie’s Spicy Caesar today.” The messaging ties the salad squarely to Stewart’s identity as one of the most dominant players in the game right now.

It’s the kind of deal worth celebrating for women’s basketball. WNBA athletes have been landing bigger and more visible brand partnerships over the last couple of years. The league’s growing TV deals and record attendance figures have made its stars genuinely appealing to major brands. Stewart has been at the front of that wave.

She’s one of the WNBA’s biggest names, currently playing for the New York Liberty. Her career is loaded with highlights. She’s won multiple WNBA MVP awards, two Olympic gold medals with Team USA, and helped lead the Liberty to the WNBA Finals in 2023. Off the court, she’s been a vocal advocate for growing the women’s game. That combination of on-court greatness and off-court presence makes her exactly the kind of athlete brands want to work with.

Getting a signature menu item at a national chain is a real milestone. It doesn’t happen for every athlete. Stewart joins a short list of athletes with named menu items at national chains. That territory has long belonged to NFL and NBA stars.

For the WNBA, that kind of brand recognition is a genuinely positive sign. The sport is clearly on the rise. Chopt has locations across the East Coast and Midwest, giving Stewie’s Spicy Caesar solid reach. The chain is known for bold, creative flavor combinations, so a spicy twist on a classic Caesar fits right in.

The “Knockout mode: activated” branding is playful and smart. It keeps the campaign grounded in Stewart’s competitive identity without feeling like a generic endorsement. That authenticity makes the whole thing land better.

For Chopt, landing a partnership with a player at Stewart’s level is a real win. The deal brings sports credibility and cultural energy to the brand. For Stewart, it marks another step forward. WNBA athletes are building their own lane in sports culture, and it’s exciting to watch.

Stewie’s Spicy Caesar is on Chopt menus now. It’s a feel-good collab for anyone rooting for women’s sports to keep winning off the court too.
