Isabella & Her Mom Were Thick As Thieves
For most of Unexpected Season 7, Isabella Leal-Stone and her mother, Tasha, were thick as thieves. Although Tasha was on probation, she would have gone back to prison to defend her daughter’s honor. When Isabella shared that her boyfriend and baby daddy, Bryce Palmer, hit her, Tasha brought this to his family. She confronted his grandma, Sue, and his mother, Connie. They thought he walked on water and vehemently denied any of these allegations. Isabella and Bryce went to counseling, but it got so bad that they split.
When she was induced, Bryce did not know, and her mother ensured his family was kept away from the hospital. Isabella even gave her daughter, Haisley, her mother’s name, which proved how influential she was in her life. A month later, Bryce met his daughter, and eventually, he and Isabella became engaged. Tasha’s one rule was that Bryce could meet Haisley, but not at her home, and Isabella broke that. She was not invited to her granddaughter’s first birthday, and now, Isabella is detailing what caused the estrangement.

As the Unexpected star claims, her relationship with Bryce was not what ruined her relationship with Tasha:
- Yall can say whatever yall want about Bryce but he genuinely stays out of it & just wants the best for me, the relationship with my mom isn’t Bryce’s fault. I don’t wish bad on her i just stepped away from a situation that wasn’t good for me.
The One Person…
Unexpected fans understood why the Texas-based teen cut ties with her mother. They felt that she was doing what was best for herself and her child. However, some wanted to make it clear that her mother would be the one person who would always love her:
- Yall can say whatever yall want about Bryce but he genuinely stays out of it & just wants the best for me, the relationship with my mom isn’t Bryce’s fault. I don’t wish bad on her i just stepped away from a situation that wasn’t good for me.
- No need to explain yourself. I have a mom the same way.
- I love you guys! Rooting for you! Sometimes things get hard but don’t give up and fight for your love!
