Season 15 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is finally underway, and a party has been thrown in Teresa Giudice’s honor. However, it has since been discovered that Bravo allegedly threw the party to bring Teresa and Melissa Gorga together. Of course, it failed epically, but what went down? Keep reading for more details on the new RHONJ season.
Melissa & Teresa Back For Season 15
After a very long hiatus and a lot of discussion, Season 15 of RHONJ has been confirmed. Three of the OGs have been brought back: Dolores Catania, Melissa Gorga, and Teresa Giudice. There was a lot of viewer debate as to who should return, whether it be Melissa or Teresa. Each had their own fanbase, but they could not get along. Finally, the two reconcile along with their families, and some wondered if it was to keep their spots on the hit Bravo series. Teresa even noted that she did not know if she would film with her brother and sister-in-law.
Fans were shocked by this, knowing that there was no choice and they would have to be in scenes together. Teresa’s birthday was May 18th, and it appeared that the Gorgas threw a party for her. However, that may not have been the case. According to an insider, it was Bravo who arranged the event for the new season and to bring the family together.
“First of all, Melissa and Joe did not pay for the party. Bravo did. So, sure, the storyline may be that they threw her a party, but it’s really Bravo that did if we’re getting technical.”
Furthermore, Teresa supposedly did not enjoy her time, despite her husband, Luis Ruelas, being there but off to the side:
“A lot of her friends were saying she didn’t really seem into the party. She feels like the show is a bit inauthentic and she’s just dialing it in.”
The biggest problem that the RHONJ OG is having is the new women on the show. Teresa Giudice allegedly does not care for them and believes that they are not the right fit. The new friendships are forced and disingenuous, with the women being far too young for her liking.
Teresa Is The Problem
RHONJ fans who heard about the alleged Bravo-staged birthday party believed Teresa Giudice was the problem. She seemingly pushed away some of the relatable women from the cast, and some viewers did not care for Teresa and her husband. They felt that Luis Ruelas brought hatred and drama, which the show no longer needed:
- It’s such a shame that Bravo had Teresa and Louis come back. I guess it’s another Bravo show I’ll be dropping.
- Oh but they could have had people more age appropriate if they had people known by Marge, Melissa and Dolores!
- I don’t know if I can stomach Teresa anymore.🤮 May have to skip this season.
Do you think it was smart to bring Teresa Giudice back or should they have kept RHONJ on pause? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
