Sophia Bush has been on Grey’s Anatomy before. She had a small role. However, fans loved seeing her on the hit medical show. She had a great character and fit the role well. However, she thinks one or two of her castmates would be great on Grey’s Anatomy. She says that James Lafferty would make a great McDreamy. She also thinks that Stephen Colletti would be great as well. However, no one can replace McDreamy. Maybe there can be another good-looking doctor, though.

James Lafferty has opened up about joining Grey’s Anatomy. He heard what Sophia Bush had to say and gave his thoughts.
“Oh, wow. I mean, dude, I don’t have that hair! That wave? That [Patrick] Dempsey wave, that’s iconic. I can’t fill those shoes. Also I can’t memorize more than three sentences in a row, so there’s no way I’m playing a doctor.”
Sadly, this does not seem to be in the cards for James. Maybe if they could find a small role, he would agree. However, he does not see himself as a doctor. James does not think he has it in him. Most fans disagree and think that he would do great on it.

It seems as though James does not think he has what it takes to be a McDreamy. However, he did not reveal if he would be interested in joining the show in a different role. Fans would love to see this happen. However, it does not seem to be in the works. Maybe Shonda Rhimes will reach out after the talk about it all. However, there is no telling.
