It has officially been confirmed that Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown has died at the age of 43. His brother, Noah Brown, was one of the people who had to identify his body, which is awful and traumatic. Shortly after the announcement of his passing, Noah took to social media to share what it was like having to be a part of the experience. Keep reading for more details on his emotional discovery.
Noah Brown Had To Identify Matt
Bear Brown was the first to ring the alarm and speak out that something could be wrong with Matt Brown. The Alaskan Bush People star had gone missing but may have been hanging around the Okanogan River in Washington. Witnesses claimed they saw a man by the water, turned away, heard a gunshot, and saw a body floating. That was when it was questioned if Matt had taken his own life. Bear continued to make follow-up videos, which enraged fans. They only wanted updates if there was one.
The search was suspended given the rocky and rough waters, but in the late hours of May 30th, Matt was confirmed to be deceased. Bear made the announcement and shared that Noah Brown had helped identify the body. Shortly thereafter, Noah hopped on and shared his take on what happened. It was clear he was broken and beaten down, an experience no one ever wants to have. He explained that he had been working for a few days with search and rescue, but at 327, they located the missing body. Noah then identified it as Matt:
“My oldest brother, Matthew Brown, has passed away.”
The Alaskan Bush People star shared that there are more details to come, and they are waiting on the coroner’s report. He wanted to thank everyone who helped him, including a non-profit search and rescue. There were so many people that Noah wanted to thank, but it was clear that he had been through a nightmare.

Alaskan Bush People fans and followers told Noah Brown he did not need to say anything. His brother was deceased, and he had identified him. It was fine to wait and take some time to process. There were also a lot of prayers and love:
