The Co-Host On The View Recently Discussed One Of Their Former Co-Stars
The View has seen a number of co-hosts discuss various issues since the show made its debut in 1997. Viewers have seen a number of co-hosts over the years. The recent panel is made up of Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.
During a recent episode, the co-hosts got personal after a discussion about former co-host Rosie O’Donnell’s decision to undergo a facelift after losing weight. This was notable as she previously criticized the practice.
However, the co-hosts showed support toward O’Donnell over the decision and even opened up about procedures they underwent in the past. For context, O’Donnell previously described the procedure as a “betrayal… of feminism [and] of aging.”
Despite this, Ana Navarro, revealing her direction reaction to O’Donnell through texting, shared, “I said to her, ‘For me, being a feminist means doing something that makes you feel empowered and happy,’ and she said, ‘I wanted to do this because I was looking sad when I’m feeling so happy,’ and she said, ‘The headline was I had Mounjaro face. Now, I look like how I feel. I look great.’ And she wanted a doctor that was a minimalist. So it’s not like a dramatic thing where all of a sudden she looks like she’s from a different ethnicity. She looks like Rosie O’Donnell.”
The Hosts Also Discussed Procedures They Would Like To Undergo
Sunny Hostin weighed in, wondering why O’Donnell would even think getting work done was “anti-feminist.” Joy Behar also weighed in, noting that people are more likely to get better jobs when they look better, saying that it sometimes amounts to “survival.”
Eventually, Behar asked her co-hosts about what they would like to get done. Hostin noted, “I got my boobs reduced,” which inspired Behar to share that she would like that, too. Alyssa Farah Griffin, turning to Behar, who has often been open about her procedures, shared, “I do the same as you, lasers and Botox.” Navarro shared that she would like more than just a facelift, adding, “I’d like to go into a chamber, pull up, starting from my ankles, and go ahead and then make it into a ponytail.”
Behar ultimately ended the conversation with a joke. As she teased, “The key to the city is marry a guy who’s legally blind. And never take off your clothes in front of anybody.”
