Lazy Housewives Of Beverly Hills
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is entering its sixteenth season, which is a milestone for the franchise. RHOC just wrapped an iconic twentieth season, and fans are in shock that people have been invested in this for this long. Some cities just do not hit the mark, but the California ladies are train wrecks that viewers cannot look away from. Unfortunately, some problems with RHOBH are resurfacing and making it seem like the cast walks over the audience. One of the biggest issues is Dorit Kemsley’s constant tardiness. She is never on time, and it has now become rude to another level.
Crystal Kung Minkoff was on RHOBH for three seasons. She noted that she has been open about this problem for quite some time. However, it has always been glossed over until Season 15, when Kyle Richards and Erika Jayne got on Dorit for being 90 minutes late to a private flight. Crystal shared how she could not stand that during her seasons, and now, she finally feels “vindicated”:
“I feel vindicated! I feel vindicated about that. That was so annoying. Man, I wish that was my season to fight about. Because I did [that]. I called Dorit out for being late for the reunion. She said it wasn’t true, and I had to clap back. … And now the fact that it’s like a storyline is crazy.”
This was talked about on Crystal’s podcast, Humble Brag, which she co-hosts alongside Cynthia Bailey from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Cynthia made it clear that her co-stars would have never been able to get away with that nonsense. They could be late, yes, but if the biggest issue in their seasons was tardiness, they would have been fired. So, why can being late be a RHOBH storyline? Crystal thinks the viewers give the women a “pass.”
The Bar Set Too Low?
At this point, it seems that RHOBH is just background noise for viewers. Or that is what Crystal Kung Minkoff and Cynthia Bailey are alluding to. Are they wrong? Is the bar set too low for the women? The Real Housewives of Miami women were livid at Lisa Hochstein for being late. However, there were also exposed text messages at a large event and Zoom meetings gone wrong. At the same time, the show is seemingly on pause, so what does that say?
