Former Dawson’s Creek stars Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson have given fans new hope that they could end up together. They dated when they were younger, while filming the hit teen drama. Katie Holmes & Joshua Jackson Are Giving Hope
Over two decades ago, Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson gave things a shot as a couple. It did not last, and she ended up marrying Tom Cruise. This was a widely publicized relationship, with some believing it was a PR stunt. The two welcomed a daughter, Suri, but called it quits, and Cruise has essentially been MIA from their lives. Katie then went on to date Jamie Foxx for around six years while Joshua had his own dalliances. He was linked to Diane Kruger for a decade before marrying Jodie Turner-Smith, with whom he shares a daughter.
Joshua began dating Lupita Nyong’o amid his split from Jodie, but they did not last long. Now, he is working with Katie again, and fans love to see it. They appeared at the charity Dawson’s Creek reading in honor of James Van Der Beek, and the crowd went wild. It seems everyone wants them to get together, and Katie Holmes is shocked by all of this. She shared an update and noted that the reception was “unexpected”:
“To be honest, it was unexpected.”
Although she knew how much fans loved her and Joshua as Joey and Pacey, she had no idea this would translate decades later:
“I know we were on a show that a lot of people watched, but I guess we never fully realized the impact. It still kind of throws all of us.”
