Pat Sajak Left Wheel Of Fortune Back In 2024, Leaving The Celebrity Version Of The Show The Following Year
Sajak first joined Wheel of Fortune in 1981. At the time, he started as the host of the daytime version of the show. By 1983, he started hosting the syndicated evening version of the show when it premiered.
Sajak spent over four decades working on the show until he officially retired in 2024. Since then, Ryan Seacreast has taken over hosting duties on the show. Sajak also hosted Celebrity Wheel of Fortune until 2025
Recently, Sajak turned to X to share an update with fans on how he is doing. He shared a video of himself living his retired life, complete with a striped shirt and sunglasses. He was standing in a garden filled with palm-trees with the ocean and a pool could be seen in the background.

Sajak shared, “Hi, I know many of you have been wondering and asking how I’ve been doing. And I’m enjoying life!”
The former host then joked, “I’ve moved here to Montana, and everything is going just great. So, I just want to say hello, now, if you excuse me, I have some cattle to attend to.” A cow could then be heard mooing in the background, which Sajak pretended to fetch, saying, “Here, boy!”
