Heather Rae El Moussa Previously Made Headlines Sharing That Her Family Felt ‘Violated’ By A Recent Incident
Heather is a model and television personality. Earning her real estate license in 2014, she became known to many for her work on the Netflix series, Selling Sunset.
In 2021, Heather married house flipper Tarek El Moussa. She has since become known for appearing in a number of shows with him, including The Flipping El Moussas and Flipping 101.
As previously reported, Heather recently made headlines with an Instagram Story in which she and Tarek felt “violated” by a scary situation. Around this time, TMZ reported that there had been a break-in at the couple’s California home. The two weren’t home at the time, being on vacation.
Since the incident, Heather took to Instagram to share an update on the situation with fans. She shared, “Our home has always been our sanctuary, the place where Tarek and I raise and protect our babies, love our family and find peace. Having that space violated has been deeply unsettling, but we are profoundly grateful that our family is safe.”
Heather Also Thanked Those Who Shared Their Support With The Family In An Instagram Story
At the time of the early reports, it was noted that items were taken from the couple’s home, though details over what was taken and its cost were unknown. She shared, “While material things can be replaced, our hearts are broken over the irreplaceable family heirlooms and special memories that were taken from us.” She also shared that she and Tarek were “taking every precaution to protect our home moving forward.”
Days later, she shared a similar message on an Instagram Story post, writing, “Thank you again to everyone that has reached out for support & love. It didn’t go unnoticed. So Sorry if we haven’t responded to them all. We are continuing to get back to our normal routine & prioritize our families’ safety.”
During her previous post, Heather shared similar sentiments, also thanking law enforcement and others for their help. She concluded the post, writing, “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. Your kindness means more than we can say as we work to restore peace to our home.”
