Following the end of his presidency in 2025, Joe Biden has retreated somewhat from the public eye. However, he recently made an appearance on Jay Leno’s YouTube show for a chat. During the conversation, they went over a few tense issues, including some colorful language.
Jay Leno’s Garage Has Hosted A Few Special Guests During Its Run
Biden served as the 46th president of the United States from 2021 to 2025. Previously, he served as the 47th vice president under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017.
Recently, Biden appeared as a featured guest on Jay Leno’s YouTube show, Jay Leno’s Garage. The web series has seen the former Tonight Show host review classic cars and motorcycles. Throughout its run, the series has hosted a number of guest stars, including Till Allen, Elon Musk, and Mark Cuban.
The video showed off a 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray. Leno and Biden then went for a drive, complete with a stop for ice cream.
Due to Secret Service protocols, former United States presidents aren’t allowed to drive on public roads. Thanks to this, Leno was the one behind the wheel. The drive, which took place in Greenville, Delaware, went along a previously secured route. Security personnel could be seen driving behind Leno and Biden throughout the video.
During their chat together, Biden brought up his late son, Beau. Wishing that Leno could have met him, he started to tear up as he discussed his son, talking about his decision to join the National Guard and his brain cancer diagnosis.
Joe Biden’s Language Got A Bit Blue More Than Once During The Chat
The former president shared his son’s admission and the words that followed: “Dad, I’m not afraid of dying. It’ll be OK. I know I’m going, all right, Dad? And I know what you’re going to do. You’re going to quit when I die. Dad, look at me. Look at me, Dad, g** d*****… give me your word as a Biden you will not quit when I die.”
This wasn’t the only time Biden used colorful language during the chat. He also used the phrase when talking about the automobile industry labor unions. At one point, Leno talked about putting on a free show in Detroit for laid-off workers. He noted that he was warned about the audience beforehand but found them perfectly cordial.

Leno mused, “You realize that all people want is to just give them a break.” Biden responded, “That’s exactly right, g** d*****.”
