Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have said that “based on the information currently available regarding fuel supply,” they are confirming that “they will maintain their summer flight schedule from Canada.
Reservations that have already been confirmed and paid for will not be subject to any fare adjustment related to an increase in fuel costs.
During the peak summer season, the two airlines will operate a combined total of 100 flights per week to their European hubs.
Air France will operate up to 60 flights from Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa and Quebec City to Paris, while KLM will offer up to 40 flights from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal and Edmonton to Amsterdam.
In addition, Air France and KLM remind customers that tickets booked on their .CA websites or through a travel agency, in the Standard, Standard Plus and Flex fare classes, may be changed once without a change fee for travel departing from Canada.
If the fare for the new itinerary is higher, the fare difference will apply. This offer does not apply to fares without checked baggage included (“Light”).
