Country singer Jason DeFord, professionally known as Jelly Roll, spent years in prison on various charges. His brush with the law began as a teenager when he was jailed for aggravated robbery. When he was in his early 20s, he was convicted of dealing drugs. He received a full pardon in late 2025.

Jelly Roll married Bunnie Xo (real name: Alisa DeFord) in 2016 in a Las Vegas chapel hours after he proposed. She opened up in her 2026 memoir about her many arrests while working as a high-end escort in Sin City.
He quietly filed for divorce in May after nearly ten years of marriage. Despite their divorce, the singer made it clear that they’re still on good terms. He previously praised Bunnie Xo for her support during the early years of his career and credits her with helping him get custody of his daughter, Bailee Ann.
After news of the divorce broke, his daughter blasted the media for their relentless coverage of her father’s personal affairs. Unfortunately, that’s part of being a celebrity. Or even having a connection to a celebrity.
Jelly Roll’s Ex Sentenced On Drug Charges After Pleading Guilty
Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo won full custody of his daughter in 2017 amid her mother’s drug addiction. Bailee Ann’s mom, Felicia Beckwith, landed in serious legal trouble last year after getting arrested on multiple drug charges.
She was arrested in February 2025 after drugs were found during a traffic stop. The cops also found a gun in the car. Felicia Beckwith, 37, and others in the car were arrested. According to Us Weekly, she was charged with the manufacture/delivery/sell/possession of Methamphetamine, schedule II drug violations, two counts of simple possession/casual exchange and unlawful drug paraphernalia after the police found over 16 grams of drugs in the car.
291 grams of meth were found in the home of one of the other people in the car. Despite the serious charges, Felicia Beckwith received a light sentence. The outlet reported that she pleaded guilty to possession of less than 0.5 grams of fentanyl. All of the other charges against her were dropped. She received three years of supervised probation in the plea deal.
Bailee Ann graduated from high school in May and turned 18 that same month. Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll are no longer her legal guardians because she’s an adult now.
