Shortly before season 3 of The Last Resort began, 90 Day Fiance couple Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh broke news. Jenny had been diagnosed with ALS after fans wondered if she was okay. Jenny Raised A Lot Of Red Flags
90 Day Fiance fans who saw Jenny Slatten were really worried. They heard her speech far lower in interviews, and some questioned if she was drinking. Others wondered if she was taking medication that could be a hindrance. Finally, fans had to ask if she had a stroke, but it turned out to be ALS, which her father had passed from a decade ago. This was unimaginable territory, but Jenny and her husband, Sumit Singh, were doing their best to get through it. As The Last Resort began airing, some viewers had no idea she had ALS.
A GoFundMe was set up to assist with all of her medical needs and such. The goal is $250K, but only $63,323 has been raised. Jenny and Sumit have stated that if someone does not feel comfortable donating, they can request a Cameo from the couple. They just hopped on social media to share an update, and it was quite heartbreaking. Jenny’s speech was even slower than before, but she and her husband thanked everyone for donating. Moreover, they appreciated all of the Cameo requests that they have been receiving.
Jenny Slatten pointed out how slow her speech is, but said she is still walking. She will keep walking for the time being, but a wheelchair is not far off for her. Fortunately, the 90 Day Fiance star remains very independent, which she likes. However, when she needs help, she does get it. She is trying her best, and giving up is not an option, which is beautiful to hear.
