We finally have the pricing for probably the most hyped game of the year.

Rockstar revealed that Grand Theft Auto VI will cost US$80 (approximately C$113.85) for the standard edition, and US$100 (about C$142) for the Ultimate Edition.

Unfortunately, the company hasn’t shared Canadian pricing yet, but with the U.S. pricing out, we can make a pretty good guess at how much it’ll cost here by looking at currency conversions (like above) but also at similarly-priced games. For example, Nintendo’s Mario Kart World costs C$109.99 compared to US$79.99, while Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 clocks in at US$99.99 for the ‘Vault Edition,’ or C$129.99.

With that in mind, a price around the C$110 mark is likely for GTA VI in Canada, while the Ultimate Edition could land anywhere between C$130 and $150.

If you want to save your copy of the game so you don’t have to worry about buying it on launch day, pre-orders open tomorrow (June 25) at midnight for both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S versions — no PC version yet.

Rockstar also noted that if you order the digital version, you can begin preloading GTA VI on November 12 to ensure you can play it as soon as November 19 rolls around. If you think that an actual physical copy of the game will exist, then I have bad news for you. The only difference between the physical and digital versions is that the physical version comes with a nice case you can display.

If you want to spend a bit more money, the Ultimate Edition includes additional digital extras, such as weapons, cars, clothing, and tattoos. If you pre-order (or buy) the Ultimate Edition before November 20, you can get the Vintage Vice City pack that includes a ’55 Vapid Stanier sedan, garage, a weapon skin, ’80s-looking outfits and hairstyles.

If you want a peek at what the game will look like (alongside the cool new Vintage Vice City pack), Rockstar has shared screenshots that highlight the Ultimate Edition, both Jason and Lucia, and even a dolphin.

GTA VI has already been delayed twice, but is now finally set to launch on November 19, with the publisher calling it “the largest game launch in history” in a job listing.
