Thanks to her career, McCarthy has worked with a number of stars over the years. Recently, she shared a reunion with one such co-star on social media. This was Richard E. Grant, with whom she appeared in Can You Ever Forgive Me? back in 2018.
In the film, based on the 2008 confessional memoir of the same name by Lee Israel, McCarthy played Israel. Grant portrayed Jack Hock, an old acquaintance of Israel’s, who helps her sell forged letters on her behalf.

Taking to Instagram, McCarthy recently shared her little reunion with Grant over dinner in a recent post. As she wrote, “Dear friends and delicious food. I declare victory!!!”
According to Hello! Magazine, the actress’ husband, Ben Falcone, and their two daughters were there as they met up for dinner. Melissa could be seen dressed in a white jacket, patterned skirt, and gold jewelry, as Grant wore a light-colored, unbuttoned shirt.
In the comments, Grant himself shared that he “loved our reunion dinner, MM!” He paired this with a few X and O emojis.
Taking to the comments, fans highlighted how lovely McCarthy looked in the share. Many also commented that they appreciated seeing the friends reunite. Some comments included:
