Shriner is an actor and the son of television personality Herb Shriner. Kin himself is known to many for playing Scott Baldwin on General Hospital, first appearing in the role in 1977.
Shriner has appeared in the soap a few times over the years, even appearing as the character on the Port Charles spin-off. Over the years, Kin has appeared in a number of soaps. He has appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, and As the World Turns.
Back on General Hospital, however, Baldwin has been missing for over a year. The character virtually vanished in 2024, with characters not even mentioning him.
Throughout this time, Shriner has often shared a few throwbacks to his time on the soap on social media. However, a recent post has some fans wondering if they will see him back in Port Charles.

In one recent Instagram share, Shriner shared a black and white photo with the caption, “Always been fun! Hope to do it again soon!!. Scotty Laura Honeymoon @generalhospitalabc!” This was a snapshot of him and Genie Francis in character as Scotty and Laura on their Hollywood honeymoon in 1979, before Laura was paired off with Anthony Geary’s Luke Spencer.
In addition to this, Kelly Kruger is expected to appear as Serena later this summer on the soap. Thanks to this, fans suspect her father, Scott, won’t be too far behind.
