The Real Housewives of Orange County is back with more drama and more fireworks. Tamra Judge opened up about a shocking “meltdown” Shannon Beador had during a cast dinner that included Andy Cohen. Keep reading to find out what led to the outburst.
RHOC Returns For Milestone Season 20
When The Real Housewives of Orange County premiered in 2006, viewers hadn’t seen anything like it. The show followed wealthy women from Orange County, California, as they lived their everyday lives. It was an immediate hit, spawning nearly a dozen Bravo spinoffs in various cities. The most recent incarnation was in Rhode Island. But fans have a soft spot for RHOC.
Vicki Gunvalson, the OG of the OC, makes her long-awaited return for the show’s milestone 20th season. She’ll join returning stars Shannon Storms Beador, Heather Dubrow, Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, and Jennifer Pedranti. Former WWE Diva Search contestant and Playboy model Carmella Garcia makes her Real Housewives debut.
The new season kicks off on Thursday, July 9, at 8 PM Eastern. Tamra Judge teased that she’s not involved in any drama this season. She “quit” the show in the middle of Season 19 after feuding with her co-stars. She’s back for more, but if she didn’t create the drama, who did?
Tamra Judge Reveals Shannon Beador Had ‘Meltdown’ During Cast Dinner
Tamra Judge pointed the finger at Shannon Beador and claimed she had a “meltdown” during a cast dinner. Shannon has had a tough time in the last few years. She split from John Janssen, watched him move on with RHOC alum Alexis Bellino, was arrested for a DUI, and most recently, suffered the loss of her beloved dog Archie.
That’s not even getting into the falling out between Shannon, Tamra, and Vicki. The three were forced back together for Season 20, but it wasn’t without its drama. Tamra Judge revealed on the Jeff Lewis Has Issues podcast that Shannon Beador had a shocking “meltdown” during a cast dinner that included Andy Cohen.

It all happened at The Quiet Woman restaurant, which has been featured on RHOC multiple times over the years. Shannon Beador is a regular customer and expected special treatment. According to Tamra, she had a shocking outburst when she didn’t get it.
“Shannon was mad that The Quiet Woman didn’t pick up the check,” Jeff Lewis remarked during the podcast. Tamra Judge confirmed it by responding, “Oh, Shannon had a meltdown. Oh yeah.” Tamra Judge shared that she stepped in on Shannon’s behalf.
“I actually told the owner that because Shannon was just really upset because she says she feels like Bravo has put them on the map, and the bill wasn’t even that high. It was like $540 or something like that. We only had apps and drinks,” the RHOC star recounted. The restaurant gave in, reversed the charges and comped the bill. Tamra didn’t reveal if Bravo cameras captured the “meltdown.”
Shannon Beador Gives Update On Tres Amigas Friendship
Tamra Judge, Shannon Beador, and Vicki Gunvalson used to be so close that they nicknamed themselves the “tres amigas.” The trio even toured the country as a variety show, telling stories about the show and meeting fans. However, Tamra Judge was dropped from the tour in 2024, sparking the end of Tres Amigas.
Though we spotted the Tres Amigas together last night, it doesn’t seem like everything is copacetic between Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge. 👀🍊 pic.twitter.com/R2hLOr7nil

Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson later had a falling out. Shannon Beador gave Page Six an update on where they stand now. She revealed that they’re “good,” but she’s wary of getting too close to her former friends. She teased that their friendship “evolves” during Season 20.
