It seemed everyone was in attendance, but one person missing was Ryan Seacrest, a longtime friend of Taylor. So, where was he, and had he been dissed from the guest list? Ryan Seacrest Left Off Guest List?
It seemed like everyone was invited to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in New York City. Things were kept under lock and key regarding the details, but the guests took photos on their way to Madison Square Garden. At the same time, it was alleged that some attendees did not even truly know the bride and groom. They did not have their phone numbers and questioned how they were invited to the wedding. Of course, getting an invite to the wedding of the year is not something someone turns down.
One person who was not in attendance was Ryan Seacrest, who has always been very close to Taylor Swift. This led followers to question if he had not been invited and was snubbed. However, Ryan cleared the air and shared that he had been invited to the highly coveted event. Yet, it was a prior commitment that kept him from being able to go:
“I RSVP’d to go, and then Disney hired me to do the 4th of July 250 special on the 3rd and the 4th, so I had to cancel.”
He added that he really wanted to be a part of the big day and went through all of the details. Ryan counted the minutes and hours to see if he could attend both events. Unfortunately, it was just not possible, so he had to bow out. However, Ryan had actually talked to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce about their wedding and how he could not wait to party down:
“You know, the irony was, after I RSVP’d to the wedding, I saw them at dinner at a restaurant and we talked about the event – ‘cause we didn’t say [wedding] out loud – and she was like, ‘Oh, it’s going to be so much fun. We’re gonna have the best time. It’s gonna go late’.”

Ryan Seacrest had an incredible weekend that cannot be disputed. Yet, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had some of the most memorable guests, who were all thrilled to share in this epic moment. Adam Sandler officiated the union, and fans were eager to catch a glimpse of the newlyweds. As broken as Ryan was, he knew that his job with Disney came first. So, he could not say no, but at least he could always know that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wanted him as a guest.
