There is no hiding in the sea when shark horror Chum arrives on UK shores. Ahead of it’s release next month, Plaion Pictures have launched the films official trailer.
The film stars Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness, She’s Out of My League), Eric Michael Cole , Elle Haymond, Sarah Siadat, Johnny Gaffney and Jim Klock. Jonathan Zuck directs and co-scripts the film with Joe Leone.
What’s this one all about? We follow a newly wed couple on their honeymoon. They join friends on excursion on the Mediterranean sea which becomes the nightmare excursion from hell. When they get caught between sharks and a killer fisherman.
Chum ticks all the boxes for what we expect from Shark theme film. This also looks a bit more than the apex predators that swim in the sea, this looks to share themes with Dangerous Animals.
Synopsis | Chum sees a newlywed couple joins friends on a Mediterranean yacht excursion, only to find themselves caught between a predatory shark and a psychopathic killer in their midst, transforming a sun-drenched escape into a fight for survival.
Chum will be released in UK and Irish Digital platforms from 17th August.
