Sunny Hostin Tries To Intervene In Son’s Arrest
Sunny Hostin shares a daughter, Paloma, and a son, Gabriel, with her husband Emmanuel. Their 24-year-old son found himself in trouble with the police in June. The incident just became public after the body-cam footage was released.
Gabriel Hostin was allegedly jogging on forbidden railroad tracks in New Rochelle, New York. He claimed that he didn’t see the signs declaring the area off-limits. The police cited for trespassing. His mother, Sunny Hostin, arrived while the police were questioning her son. She can be heard on the body-cam mentioning her status as a talk show host.
“My name is Sunny Hostin, and I’m one of the co-hosts of The View, and I’m a former federal prosecutor,” she told the cops. Sunny Hostin added that her son graduated from Harvard and doesn’t have a criminal record. She called the incident an “innocent” mistake.
However, there was nothing more the cops could do. “Normally it’s a misdemeanor charge. We’re dumbing it down to a trespass violation because you were in the right-of-way, you weren’t in the gauge or anything, which is the middle area where the tracks were on,” one cop said.

Megyn Kelly Claims The View Host Used Fame To Help Son Into Harvard
Megyn Kelly hosts her own SiriusXM show after leaving Fox News and NBC. She dedicated a segment on her show to Sunny Hostin’s son’s legal trouble. Megyn Kelly actually agreed with The View host coming down to talk to the cops on her son’s behalf. “Any mother would do” the same thing, the Fox News anchor said.
However, she found Sunny Hostin’s “hypocrisy” outrageous. According to Megyn Kelly, The View host “hates” America but still reaps the benefits of fame. “Most people’s kids didn’t go to Harvard,” Megyn Kelly said.
She continued, “Do you think her child got into Harvard completely on merit, or do you think she might have played the Sunny Hostin ‘View’ card to help him along?”
