Reports Have Come Out That Unexpected Star Hunter Johnson’s Father, Casey Johnson, Was Arrested By Van Buren Police
Viewers were introduced to Hunter Johnson on Season 7 of Unexpected. Airing in early 2026, he and Bella Vaughn were featured as the TLC series documented their teen pregnancy journey. They welcomed the birth of their son in March 2025.
Recently, news has come out concerning Hunter’s father, Casey Johnson. According to reports, he was arrested in Arkansas.
According to Starcasm, Casey was arrested this past Thursday by Van Buren police. He was reportedly booked on charges of domestic battering in the third degree and endangering the welfare of a minor in the third degree. Both charges are misdemeanors.
Casey reportedly posted a bond of $3,500. He was then released a few hours after being booked. The charges were officially filed in court by July 24. The arraignment has been scheduled for October 5.
This Comes Out As Casey Johnson Was Involved In A Custody Battle Concerning His Son & Grandson
This news comes out as Casey was involved in a heated custody battle over his son, Hunter, and grandson, Wesley. Casey had been awarded full custody of Hunter back in May. However, the battle with Hunter’s mother, Stacie Riddle, continues to play out in court.
In addition, Casey’s issues with Bella’s mother, Falen Vaughn, led to a heated incident. This was followed by Falen’s arrest in April.
Late month, as previously reported, Casey’s wife, Brettney, also announced that the two were getting a divorce after being together for ten years. Taking to Facebook, she wrote, “It’s no surprise we have been going through a lot recently. And it has just come to a point we really want to focus on the kids’ happiness.”
At the time, it was shared, “We are still co-parenting together with all three kids. Ten years is a long time, but for the most part, it was ten beautiful years. I wouldn’t take a moment of it back. Please respect our privacy and say some prayers.”
At this time, not much information has been shared about the alleged victims in the case. It is believed that more information could come out at a later date.
