Big Brother has been on for 28 seasons, and with that comes some sacred traditions. Now, Survivor alum Dee Valladares has broken one of the most sacred rules of the house. Keep reading to find out exactly what she did and what fans are saying about it.
BB28 Off To Dramatic Start
Needless to say, this season of Big Brother has already had some serious ups and downs. The first showmance of the season started passionately; however, it was quickly broken apart. Jason and Angela got in a massive falling out after previously being each other’s support systems, and Survivor has totally taken over the house. It truly has been a summer to remember, and the show has only just started.
However, one houseguest has made fans angry. Survivor winner Dee Valladares had a lot of people on her side when she entered the house. She’s been a strong player so far, leading one of the strongest alliances. Not only that, but she was the first Head of Household of the season. Unfortunately, though, it seems someone forgot to teach her the most sacred BB rules.
Breaking Rules Already
One of the oldest punishments in the Big Brother house is being a have-not. Have-nots have to spend a week sleeping in a less-than-desirable room. This year, that includes sleeping on a wooden wheel while it’s spinning. In addition, they can only eat what’s known as ‘slop.‘ Slop is just a mixture of oats and other nutritional items. While it will keep a houseguest full, it won’t bring them any joy to eat.
Dee is a have-not this week but has broken that slop rule already. According to The Sun, she was spotted on the live feeds enjoying some luxurious HOH snacks after her buddy (and controversial houseguest) Kamu took the HOH suite. The winner always gets a stocked fridge filled with all their favorite snacks from home. None of which are on the approved, have-not diet of slop.
Fans have one question following this incident – what happens now? Some are calling for her to be removed from the house immediately since she broke such a sacred rule. Others are asking for at least an automatic nomination for her behavior. As one fan points out, what’s the point of having the rule if it can be broken with no consequence?
- “WE, FANS DEMAND AN AUTOMATIC NOMINATION THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND GOES AGAINST THE MORALS OF THE SHOW,” one furious fan wrote.
- “Automatic nomination please BB gods.”
- “So what’s the point of being a Have-Not if she’s just going to break the rules?”
- “Unacceptable. What’s the consequence going to be @CBSBigBrother?”
For right now, there’s no telling what Big Brother will do about the breach of rules. Only time will tell if they take action against the houseguest.
