London-based drum and bass production duo Delta Heavy, consisting of Ben Hall and Simon James,released their brand new single “Set You Free”.This is a cover version of the iconic N-Trance classic with this iconic 90s rave piano that marked a whole era. Delta Heavy began playing early bootleg/dubplate versions in their live sets as early as 2023–2024 (notably tested at major festivals like Rampage). After becoming a massive fan favorite during tours, it received an official release yesterday.The production bridges classic ’90s nostalgia with cutting-edge 2020s dancefloor power.This is a masterclass in modernizing ’90s rave heritage for today’s mainstages.The classic vocal hooks keep the melody accessible, while the razor-sharp low end provides the weight needed for modern DJ sets.This one hits really hard making it one of my favourites this week…
