Slayyyter has released her new song, “brand new chanel$.” It’s a sister track to “BEAT UP CHANEL$” from this year’s WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA.
“brand new chanel$” still explores a push-pull relationship and being emotionally tied to them, but this time Slayyyter uses everything from after-parties to designer goods to move on.

In the self-directed video, she revisits the house from the “BEAT UP CHANEL$” visual, except she’s in mourning — dressed in all black — and shooting at a silhouette target. The video also includes a scene where she recreates the album’s artwork with a trucker hat that reads “WOR$T MAN IN AMERICA” instead of “WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA.”
“This music was made from a very pure place, chasing songs I wanted to listen to over and over after the studio,” she says about the album. “By approaching it that way, I rediscovered how much I love making music. The prompt wasn’t thinking about hits, or algorithm music. I began asking myself: If I died tomorrow and had one last thing to contribute, what would it sound like?”
This weekend, Slayyyter will perform at Lollapalooza before heading to the U.K. for Reading & Leeds. She’ll also open up for Turnstile on select dates on the second leg of their Never Enough tour.
