Remi Wolf has released her new song, “Twiggy,” her first music since 2024’s Big Ideas. The track is about the people she’s dated who were flat in every sense.
“I wrote ‘Twiggy’ about people I’ve been with that lack both butts and emotional availability and how I like that,” Wolf says. “Or maybe it’s just about the messiness of addiction? I don’t know, you decide.”

The single, which is also released on vinyl alongside a hidden B-side “Tiny Little Twigs (Demo),” was first teased during Hayley Williams’ set last weekend at Newport Folk Festival.
After years of being on the road, “Twiggy” was made after she took a pause and went on a writing retreat in Big Bear, letting herself get “emo as fuck.” “I felt this permission to be honest and be my raw self,” she says. “Because of that, the writing process didn’t change, but the writing changed.”
