Noah Centineo is famous for playing boy-next-door romantic leads. However, the star has recently been giving fans a surprise by showing off a whole new look. Interestingly, the actor has quite a few reasons for his change in appearance.
Noah Centineo First Became Known To Many Through The Fosters & To All The Boys
Centineo first gained fame through his breakout role on The Fosters, playing Jesus Adams Foster. Later, he gained further recognition in the To All the Boys franchise.
In 2022, Centineo played Atom Smasher in Black Adam. Around this time, he also took on the title role in Netflix’s spy adventure series, The Recruit.
Throughout his career, fans have gotten to know Noah’s signature look, from his curly hair to his lean figure. However, he recently sported a whole new appearance, all in time for a few upcoming roles.
Noah is set to play Ken Masters in an upcoming adaptation of the Street Fighter franchise. He is also set to play Rambo in 2027’s John Rambo. Thanks to this, the actor has bulked up, showing off a massive physique on social media and in recent appearances.
Fans Are Already Getting A Glimpse At Centineo As Street Fighter‘s Ken Masters
Centineo has sported all sorts of looks over the years, from his famous curls to a shaved head, while Ken Masters is famous for his blonde hair. However, in promotional images and videos as Ken, which have been shared on the project’s social media, he could be seen sporting blonde locks, bringing him closer to the character.
However, Noah’s new appearance isn’t just for professional reasons. During an appearance on the Chicks in the Office podcast last year, the actor shared that it was part of his sobriety journey. As he noted, “Right now, I’m in one of those phases where I’m just not really doing anything and you just work out. And try and connect with yourself and take care of yourself as best as you can. Cause life’s trippy.”
Taking to social media, fans have been sharing their reactions. Many admitted that they didn’t originally recognize Noah at first, especially when dressed up as Ken. Some comments included:
- “That’s Noah? No way!”
- “Honestly, great casting.”
- “Noah, the heartthrob that he is, deserves to be on our screens far more often than he is these days.”
- “Noah looks great!”
- “f*****’ what?! This is the guy from The Perfect Date 6 years ago btw.”
- “I’m not sure if this was the right choice, but the few shots with him and Ryu in the trailer were neat. I need to see more, but I’m still a little skeptical.”
- “Bro Noah looks so different i almost didn’t recognize him.”
