Just because a breakup happened in 2012 doesn’t mean that bygones are bygones. That’s exactly what’s going on between Bachelor Nation stars Courtney Robertson and Trista Sutter. Apparently, there’s some beef between the two women. Keep reading for all the details.
Courtney Robertson Feels Hurt
Courtney Robertson may be known as a villain in Bachelor Nation, but the star still has a lot of feelings about how her relationship ended in 2012 and how she was treated by the people around her. She starred on Season 16 of The Bachelor with leading man Ben Flajnik. The pair fell in love and ended up engaged at the end of his season. However, it wasn’t actually a happy ending.
Ben and Courtney ended up splitting up just months after she won the show. Because she was considered a villain, she ended up writing a memoir detailing her relationship and time on the show. While life moved on and she remarried (and divorced), she is still holding on to some drama from the past. After going on a podcast with Trista Sutter, that drama ended up coming out.
Fueding With Trista
According to Ok! Trista made a social media post mocking Courtney after she split up from her Bachelor fiance, Ben.
“So many people reached out to me to support me. You didn’t give me the f—— time of day,” Courtney says to Trista on a podcast.
Of course, this was so long ago, Trista could hardly remember what Courtney was talking about. However, she does note that she apologized following the release of Courtney’s book and Courtney accepted the apology. However, despite the apology, she didn’t let Trista off the hook in the years that followed.
“Years later, you’re on multiple podcasts [like] Zachary Reality saying that I would go to the opening of an envelope,” she says.
Unfortunately, Courtney doesn’t take this well, shutting down almost entirely.
“I just have a lot of s— going on right now and this isn’t comfortable for me. I’ve been having panic attacks all day because of what I’m going through, personally,” Courtney says. She is currently going through a divorce from her husband. So, of course, her emotions are heightened.
“This was not my idea, by the way, so don’t hold that against me,” Trista reminds Courtney.
It seems that if the women still aren’t able to move forward from the drama, they will never be able to. Unfortunately, some people just aren’t mean to be friends.
