Throughout her career, Megyn Kelly has roasted people from various fields, from politicians to celebrities. Recently, however, she actually came to one media figure’s defense. This was Martha Stewart, after she recently found herself the subject of a viral insider’s share.
An Insider Recently Denied A Story Shared By Martha Stewart
Stewart is the founder of the lifestyle media and merchandising company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. She is also known for hosting two syndicated television shows, Martha Stewart Living, which ran from 1993 to 2004, and The Martha Stewart Show, which ran from 2005 to 2012.
Throughout her career, Stewart has met with various figures in the media. Recently, she went viral for her share about one prominent figure.
Recently, according to People, Stewart spoke about Meghan Markle just as she “had just gotten back from the palace.” At the time, she and her husband, Prince Harry, reunited with King Charles at a dinner party.
Following this, however, a source denied this to the outlet, sharing that Meghan didn’t share much about her European vacation. They described Stewart’s account of the story as “simply untrue.” However, the source shared, “Meghan has always been a fan of Martha’s and enjoyed getting to meet her briefly at the dinner.”
Megyn Kelly Also Shared A Prediction Concerning Meghan Markle
Since then, the story was discussed on Megyn Kelly’s podcast. Kelly came to Stewart’s defense, sharing that she was “sharp as a tack” and doubted that she misheard the story.
Feeling that Stewart only “said something innocuous about Markle” in the interview, Kelly shared the suspicion that the statement was shared after the fact to discredit Stewart. She also shared, “Meghan can’t have anything written about her without filing a lawsuit, threatening a lawsuit, having her people call.”
Kelly’s guest, Maureen Callahan, also expressed support for Stewart. As she shared, “I completely believe Martha Stewart’s version of events.”
During the discussion, Kelly also shared a prediction with Markle: that she would reconcile with her royal in-laws. She shared, “I think the King is gonna allow it. I think he’s gonna let him back in. He’s a dad before he’s a king.”
