Sunshine Girls is headed to Netflix. The streaming service has acquired the coming-of-age drama series created by Rob Fishman and Nuria Anson. The eight-episode series will arrive in December.
Alma Marian, Isabella Fowler, and Erin Rose Park star in the teen drama. Netflix shared the following about the series:
“Valley Hills is a perfectly nice California suburb… unless, like Olivia, you’ve lived in New York City your whole life. When her parents split up, Olivia is suddenly the new kid at Valley High, where she meets horse girl Taylor and influencer Riley. Freshman year comes at them fast, with false starts, first kisses and family drama, but together these unlikely best friends will find their place in the sun.”
