RayNeo has unveiled several new cool products, including new AI-enabled smartglasses with an invisible all-day waveguide display, and next-gen spatial AR glasses that offer a theatre-grade visual and acoustic experience.
Let’s dive in: RayNeo iO
RayNeo iO Smart Glasses use a retro Crown Panto styling, offering a conventional look to smartglasses.
The invisible all-day waveguide display is powered by the 0.085cc monochrome green Firefly Nano Engine, and is able to achieve 97 per cent optical transparency, so you won’t be too bothered by the display. On-screen text can reach 1,300 nits of brightness, so it’ll be easy to read, but it’s invisible on the other side, so people can’t see what you’re reading.

The Ambient AI Life Log runs AI in the background at low power and captures schedules and conversation contexts. It’ll help follow meetings, and create action items and prompts for calendar updates that users can confirm with a head nod.
It also has multi-LLM integration powered by RayNeo AI and Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite. There’s live translation and an auto teleprompter, which syncs with the pace of the wearer’s speech.
It also has a 4-mic array with bone conduction sensor that isolates vibrations — great for translations in noisy environments. It also has a 240mAh battery for up to two days of typical usage, with includes 18 hours of continuous recording.
The smartglasses offer a Smart Crown rotary dial on the right temple, Bluetooth 5.4, IP54 dust and water resistance, LED status light for when you’re recording, and works with iOS and Android.
RayNeo GT (GT & GT Max)
While the above glasses provided smart AI, these glasses aim to bring a cinematic experience wherever you are.
Specifically, the GT Max is powered by the Peacock Optical Engine 3.0 Max and a 5th-gen Tandem MicroOLED display, it also has a 59-degree FOV, and users can scale the virtual screen across three sizes: 227-inch (85%), 267-inch (100%), and 307-inch (115%).
Both glasses support Dolby Vision when paired with the Pocket TV Pro, which also assists with real-time AI SDR-to-HDR conversion.
Of course, the glasses have 360 3DoF tracking, allowing you to pin the display to a 3D space, Follow Mode so it follows you around and Steady Mode, which filters for travel bumps and turbulence (I needed this on my last flight).
The GT weighs 68g, while the GT Max weighs 78, so they aren’t too heavy on your face.
RayNeo describes the RayNeo IO for ambient heads-up productivity and AI, the GT for portable AR media and gaming and the GT Max for a cinema-grade AR display.
We’re still waiting to hear about pricing, but the glasses launch on September 4 via the RayNeo website and Amazon.
