The Rangers are designating outfielder Jarred Kelenic for assignment, according to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News. Kelenic’s roster spot goes to Logan O’Hoppe, who will be recalled from Triple-A Round Rock. O’Hoppe was acquired from the Angels at the trade deadline and immediately optioned, so he’ll be making his team debut as the Rangers’ designated hitter today.
