The Love Island USA season 8 cast is reuniting far away from any private hideaway.
On Wednesday, August 26, Peacock released the first trailer for the highly anticipated reunion, which was filmed at Universal Studios Hollywood in front of a live studio audience.
Hosted by Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen, the special promises to update fans on all the successful couples formed in Fiji this past summer, including winners Trinity Tatum and Bryce Dettloff and second place runners-up Aniya Harvey and Carl Lee Schmidt.
“There were some jokes that Carl can’t handle all of that,” Ariana, 41, tells Aniya, 23, as she sits by her man.
“I fear he can,” Aniya replies with a laugh. “It’s been great.”
While things appear to be stronger than ever between Aniya and Carl, 28, some friendships appear to be in need of a life jacket.

After Kenzie Annis does her signature splits in a short red dress, she notices Melanie Moreno rolling her eyes.
The camera then pans to Jen Terry, who simply shouts, “So messy!”
KC Chandler and girlfriend Tierra “Titi” Davis also have the opportunity to confront harsh criticism from their fellow Islanders. Before fans assume that things gets ugly, Aniya appears to have regret over some of her actions when she says, “My immediate thought was, ‘I need to go and apologize.’”
Season 8 of Love Island USA became one of the most talked about shows of the summer as contestants flew to Fiji and coupled up with other Islanders to compete in games and challenges.

Throughout their stay, drama — and plenty of romance — ensued with Kayda Bosse and Zach Georgiou, Corbin Mims and Parmida Keshani and more couples formed.
Since season 8 premiered on June 2, Love Island USA has garnered over 19 billion minutes viewed, Peacock shared.
As a result, Us can confirm the show has been renewed for season 9 and new episodes are expected to return next summer.
For now, many details surrounding the season 8 reunion have been kept top secret. Trinity, 22, however, did deny speculation that she was escorted out of the taping.
“This is not true idk where this info came from lmaoo,” Trinity replied to a fan account via TikTok earlier this month. “I hate I even have to say this but don’t believe everything on the net lol I did not get escorted out. Also we never had an altercation but goodnight my loves.”
