Kim Kardashian owes a lot of her fame to her momager Kris Jenner. Now it seems that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is pushing her oldest daughter down the same path. Kim Kardashian shares four children – North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7 – with ex-husband Kanye West. The Hollywood couple split in 2021 after seven years of marriage.
Kanye West and his new wife, Bianca Censori, are active in the kids’ lives. However, Kim Kardashian is usually blamed for anything North West does. In recent years, the young girl has experimented with body modifications like multiple piercings, bold hair colors and grillz.
She’s also followed in her father’s footsteps by releasing her first album when she was just 12. The album came 2 years after she made her musical debut in Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s single “Talking/Once Again.” North West was supposed to go on tour for the first time but it was abruptly canceled.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s parenting was called into question after North West’s latest move. The 13-year-old posed for the cover of the British magazine Dazed. Photographed by Gus Van Sant, the teen sported multiple facial piercings, blue hair, and a tight outfit made from keys. Photos inside the magazine revealed turquoise grillz in place of her real teeth.
Former The View host Meghan McCain tweeted, “This poor baby. My heart just breaks for this child,” in response to the magazine cover. She deleted the tweet after backlash but returned to the platform to explain her stance. “I was not mocking. I feel terrible for her and believe that kind of magazine cover is no place for a child. Don’t twist it.”
Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly devoted an entire segment of her SiriusXM show to the photographs. “Does North West have good parents?” she asked guest Dr. Drew Pinsky. “Because she is on the cover of this British quarterly magazine right now with false teeth — like, a grill situation — blue hair, all these facial piercings.”
“They are rushing to try to make her a star without, it doesn’t appear, any reflection, especially by the Kardashians, of the significant downside of putting your child on camera for her childhood,” Megyn Kelly added about North West’s parents.
Dr. Drew said that it made him “worry” for the young girl and he’s not the only one. Fans blasted Kim Kardashian on Instagram for letting her young daughter pose on the cover of the magazine. Many pointed out that they were still playing with Barbies when they were 13.
