Jack Osbourne Hints At ‘Awesome’ Actor For Ozzy’s Biopic
A year after Ozzy’s death, Jack is sharing an update on the much-anticipated biopic.
“Script, done. We’re currently going out to directors. It’s gung ho,” the producer said. When asked if they had an actor in mind to play the godfather of heavy metal, he replied: “We do.”
Jack added that although he was not allowed to say exactly who it was, he was sure it would work out great. “If it all works out, it’s gonna be awesome,” he told E! News.
With the latest developments, the British-American was optimistic that filming could begin soon, sharing that in a perfect world, they would like to be shooting by spring or summer of next year.
The creative direction of the biopic also seems to be taking a different angle, with Jack mentioning that it was very heavily focused on the relationship between Ozzy and Sharon.
“It’s more ‘Walk the Line’ than it is ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ or ‘Michael,’” he shared.

Last month, Universal Studios also announced their tribute to the heavy metal star, with the unveiling of an Ozzy Osbourne-themed haunted house at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.
It came as a fitting tribute as the music icon’s gothic style is synonymous with the spirit of Halloween.
Per The Blast, Halloween Horror Nights 2026 begins in late August and will run through November 1. Tickets are now on sale, ranging from $90 to $399.
Sharon Osbourne’s Mansion Got A Major Price Cut After Failing To Sell
The much-deserved tribute comes as the Osbourne family continues to make headlines, with the home Sharon and Ozzy shared receiving a major rent cut after failing to sell.
The historic Hancock Park estate, which has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, was initially offered at $65,000 per month in June while being listed by Carolwood Estates for sale at $17 million.
The rent was then reduced by $10,000, although the sale price remains the same. Sharon appears ready to either sell the home or continue to generate income through rent.
Despite the huge reduction, however, the house still targets wealthy clientele. The Blast reported that prospective tenants are being asked for a $195,000 security deposit, with only pre-qualified clients allowed to tour the property.

As Sharon navigates the struggles of selling off the mansion she shared with Ozzy, she took some time out in July to pay tribute to the Prince of Darkness in a deeply emotional post.
July 4 would have been the 46th anniversary of the Hollywood couple, and she did not allow the bittersweet milestone to pass quietly.
“Today would have been our 46th wedding anniversary,” She shared on social media, along with a photo of them holding hands before his passing. The 73-year-old went on to talk about how much she missed holding his hand, promising to carry him with her forever, according to The Blast.
Jack Osbourne Welcomed New Daughter With Tribute To Father Ozzy
The family tributes continued to pour in, with Jack also honoring to his father after welcoming his daughter with wife Aree Gearhart.
The Blast reported that on March 11, Jack shared a black-and-white video of his daughter on Instagram, displaying the baby’s name as Ozzy Matilda Osbourne.
This was an ode to the Black Sabbath frontman, who was born John Michael Osbourne, but later adopted the nickname Ozzy, a shortened version of his last name, after students tried to make fun of him for it.
