Teddi Mellencamp Became Known To Many While Appearing On The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Teddi is a podcast and television personality who is also the daughter of musician John Mellencamp. Many were introduced to her as a main cast member on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2017 to 2020. In addition, she co-hosts the podcast series, Two T’s in a Pod, with Tamra Judge.
In recent years, Mellencamp has shared her health journey with fans. She was first diagnosed with Stage 2 melanoma in October 2022. This later progressed to Stage 4 after metastasizing to her brain and lungs in early 2025.
As fans know, Teddi has dealt with hair loss due to undergoing brain surgeries, radiation, and immunotherapy. Throughout this time, Teddi has been very open with fans. Back in March 2025, she shared an image of her shaved head after having tumors and stitches removed.
In a lot of Teddi’s recent social media posts, she often dons a long blonde wig, often paired with a bandana. During a recent Instagram Stories share, however, she decided to give fans an even closer look at her hair regrowth. In the video, she could be seen with a short, cropped blonde haircut.
Teddi Was Told That She Didn’t Have A Trace Of Cancer In Her Body Back In October 2025
As Teddi explained, “Whenever I do a lot of posts and I’m in full glam, then I feel the need to, like, be honest and show you guys the reality of the situation now [that] I’m done working. This is what we got going on.” Ending the short clip, she shared that she was going to watch the true crime documentary, Death of the Pastor’s Wife, and thanked Netflix for the reminder.
The day prior, Teddi even went so far as to remove her wig, as well as a baseball cap, on camera. Helping to give the moment a defiant tone, she set it to the Chicks’ 2006 song “Not Ready to Make Nice.”

At this time, Teddi has been undergoing immunotherapy. Although doctors told her back in October that she didn’t have a trace of cancer in her body, she will receive an official, final “cancer-free” diagnosis after successfully completing these treatments. As of August 2026, she is expected to have nine months left of her current treatment plan.
