However, there is speculation that something might have sparked between two of the season’s contestants: Rae Boyd and Brooks Rosser. This comes after a few social media posts, with fans already sharing their reactions.
Rae Boyd Recently Got Eliminated As American Idol Reached Its Top 9
American Idol is currently in its 24th season, which made its debut earlier this year. With the season expected to reach its conclusion this upcoming May, the contestants are dwindling down until fans will see the show’s latest winner.
Rae Boyd was recently eliminated from American Idol. However, some fans on social media speculate that she could have walked away from the show with something special.
Some fans suspect that she could be dating fellow Season 24 contestant Brooks Rosser. For his part, Brooks is currently still in the running to win and is in the Top 9.
Reportedly, the two added fuel to the fire with a recent post on social media, which featured Brooks holding up a sign in support of her. Rae recently added a photo to her Instagram Stories, in which Brooks could be seen holding a sign reading “Vote For Rae,” which also had the word, “Bae,” scratched out in front of Rae’s name. In a caption, Rae wrote, “He said he would still vote for me,” likely meaning he was still showing her support in spite of her elimination.
A Recent Video Had Also Gotten Fans Talking On Instagram
At this time, Rae and Brooks haven’t confirmed being in a relationship together. However, this isn’t the only time that their interactions on social media have gotten fans talking.
The two could recently be seen singing a duet together in a video on Instagram. In a caption, Brooks kept things professional, however, writing, “Tune in 2 American Idol tomorrow night.” At the time, the show’s own social media account praised the duo’s song, writing, “CHILLS,” in the comments.
Whether or not the two are simply teasing fans or if there is something more, fans have been sharing their speculations on social media. Even fans who thought the two weren’t together could still have the makings of a great love story. Outside of this, others think that the two literally make great music together. Some comments included:
