With the year finally entering the summer months, many people across the country have their minds set to vacation mode. This is true for even figures in the media. Recently, Al Roker took to social media to “bring” fans along with him during a recent Bermuda holiday.
Al Roker Recently Took A Break From Today With His Wife, Deborah Roberts
Roker is known to many as a weather presenter and journalist. He first officially joined Today in 1996, having previously served as a forecaster for Weekend Today.
Over the years, Roker has had multiple positions on the show. This has ranged from serving as a weather anchor to co-hosting the show’s third hour.
Recently, Roker took a break from his time on the show to take a trip to Bermuda with his spouse, Deborah Roberts, right alongside him. In a post, Roker shared:
- “A beautiful long weekend in #bermuda with @debrobertsabc Love the @thelorenbermuda and staff there. Yummy food at Munchies, Tom Moore’s Tavern and Palamino.”

In a video, Al and Deborah smiled for the camera. It then cuts to scenes of Roker lounging at a pool, enjoying the sights, and having something to eat and drink.
Of course, summer holidays naturally focus on the beach, with Roker ending the video with the sun setting over the waters, right before cutting to a few more photos of him and Deb. The video was set to Sting’s “Brand New Day.”
As previously reported, Roker is a frequent visitor to the island. His family previously visited many of the same sites to celebrate his son Nicholas’s 23rd birthday.
While some fans could only dream of taking such a nice trip, many were happy to enjoy seeing Roker enjoy himself. Many took to social media to thank the couple for the share. Of course, a few Bermuda locals also wanted to thank them for showcasing their home. Some comments included:
