Fans were first introduced to the McBee family through the reality series, The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys. The show follows the family and their farming and cattle business based in rural Missouri. Starting with the second season, the series moved onto Bravo.
Steven McBee Jr. is the oldest of the four McBee brothers. In 2025, he started dating Allie Eklund, announcing their relationship this past November.
Eklund and McBee’s relation is set to be front and center during the show’s upcoming third season, which is set to debut on June 19. However, the two broke up this past April, with McBee making accusation of Eklund cheating on him, with Eklund herself denying the allegations.
Prior to this, McBee was known for his relationship with Calah Jackson. This relationship played out during the show’s first two seasons. The two ultimately called it quits in 2024, which fans saw during the second season of the family’s show.
Recently, speaking with Us Weekly, an inside source weighed in on the situation. As they noted, “Allie is very upset and having a hard time with the breakup.” They also shared that she “still can’t wrap her head around things since she feels she did nothing wrong.”
Eklund & McBee’s Relationship Will Get Focus On The McBee Dynasty‘s Third Season
The source noted that Allie did find a silver lining in how things played out. They shared, “In a way, she believes it’s a blessing in disguise.” The source explained, “She protected him a lot during their relationship.” However, she allegedly “feels he was unfaithful to her in many situations that she never discussed publicly.”
According to the insider, Eklund and McBee “were having many issues before they split.” One such instance was claimed to be “several instances of girls coming to her showing DMs and text messages from him.”
However, Eklund has since reportedly found an unexpected source of support: Steven’s ex, Calah. The source shared, “Allie and Calah have bonded over this whole ordeal and have been in touch.” They also claimed that the two women have found that “talking about it together was healing and brought peace for both of them.”
The source also felt that a reconciliation between Eklund and McBee was unlikely. Noting that Allie “blocked Steven on everything and will never speak to him again,” they added, “There is no chance they will ever get back together.”
