Fans recently saw Braden Rumfelt’s time on American Idol come to an end. However, as longtime fans of the show know, some artists who failed to win the season are just getting started, going to make headlines long after the show. Recently, Rumfelt teased what could be next for him.
Braden Rumfelt Placed In The Top 5 On Season 24 Of American Idol
Rumfelt previously became a contestant on Season 24 of American Idol. During his time on the show, he lent his vocals to covers of songs like “I’m Not the Only One” by Sam Smith, “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims, and “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys.
During the Top 5 round, Rumfelt received the lowest number of votes alongside Chris Tungseth. While this eliminated him from the competition, he recently teased fans about what could be next for him on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Rumfelt kept positive, sharing, “What’s up, beautiful people?! As we all probably know, I didn’t make the top 3:/ (but I’m singing in the finale) and that’s okay!”
The singer also felt that American Idol “has given me some of the best experiences, friends, and challenges I’ve waited my whole life for.” Thanking God, he also wanted to thank his fans, noting, “Because of you, I now know I can be successful in what I love,” adding, “There’s not a better feeling!”
A Few Other Season 24 Contestants Took To The Comments To Commend Rumfelt
It was then that Rumfelt teased a bit about what’s next for him, noting that he will continue to pursue his musical ambitions. He continued, “Keep your eyes peeled, I’m going to be releasing music and touring and all the cool stuff.” Once again thanking his fans, he wrote, “Thank YOU for praying, voting, and supporting me along the way! I couldn’t have made it here without y’all.”
Fans can already expect Braden to return to the season’s upcoming three-hour finale. Artists like Brad Paisley, Lee Ann Womack, Mötley Crüe, Nelly, and fellow American Idol alum Tori Kelly are also expected to perform.
Fellow American Idol alum also took to the comments to wish Rumfelt well amid the news. Brooks Rosser, in a series of comments, playfully teased him with a bunch of nicknames, including “Bragin,” “Bradon,” “Brandon,” and “Bridin.” Jake Thistle shared a few fire emojis.
