Anthony Green has released a cover of Porno for Pyros’ “Pets” featuring Sweet Pill vocalist Zanya Youssef.
The video for the song includes clips of Green’s U.K. tour earlier this month, including his first solo headline show in London and opening up for My Chemical Romance during one of their dates at Wembley Stadium in London.

Green was introduced to Jane’s Addiction when he was 12 thanks to his older brother, who he says introduced him to “all the cool music I grew up on.”
“I became obsessed with Perry’s voice,” Green says. “It blew my mind that he could make music that felt so different from Jane’s Addiction — still unmistakably his, but with a completely different groove and mood. It lived in the same creative universe while carving out its own identity, and that always stayed with me.
“One day, after playing ‘East Coast Winters,’ I was messing around on these two chords and found myself singing this melody,” he continues. “Suddenly everything clicked into place. It felt like I was revisiting the song from a completely different point in my life, where its sentiment somehow feels just as relevant — only in an entirely new context.”
The cover, which is available on vinyl, will include a B-side of a remix of Green’s unreleased song, “Reconcile,” reimagined by Circa Survive’s Colin Frangicetto solo project, Psychic Babble. 25% of proceeds from the vinyl will be donated to Street Tails Animal Rescue in Philadelphia and The Bond Between.
