The ruling Socialists’ junior coalition partner Sumar has put forward a new proposal which seeks to change the minimum requirements for rental properties in Spain and make air conditioning mandatory. The hard-left party’s housing spokesperson, Alberto Ibáñez, explained that their main objective is to make it mandatory for all rental properties to have air conditioning systems installed.
