Howard Stern’s wife, Beth Stern, is out with her husband‘s long time nemisis and doesn’t seem to mind. Keep reading to find out what went down between the pair and what Beth is doing now.
A Long Time Enemy
Howard Stern has been famous for a long time, so it makes sense that he would have long-time enemies.
In the 90s and the 2000s, Howard seemingly had it out for Kathie Lee Gifford even though she claims there was never anything going on between them. He would often mock her cheery personality and her public image. At one point, Kathie Lee sang the National Anthem, and Howard had it out for her so badly that he encouraged fans to boo her afterwards.
In 2019, Howard made efforts to smooth things over by sending a letter and even getting her flowers. However, at what point is the damage too far gone?
“He was saying, ‘I can’t believe how nice you were to me. I’ve been so rude to you and you were so nice. I just need to apologize to you. Please call me,’” Kathie Lee recalls in her memoir.
According to Kathie, it’s her faith that allows her to forgive and move on so quickly. She claims she can actually get along with anybody, even if they’ve treated her very poorly for seemingly no reason.
“I saw him a couple of times over at Sirius, and we were fine. I can get along with a rock,” she explains. She continues, saying: “I can find something good in anybody. That’s what my faith teaches me.”
Now, it seems that the relationship has been smoothed over enough that Howard’s wife, Beth, has adopted her as a good friend. In fact, she was just with her because of her new book.
Beth Stern’s New Book
According to The Sun, Beth was out and about promoting her new children’s book with none other than Kathie Lee and Jill Martin. The trio looks like they are in heaven as they all wear matching straw hats and pose for the camera.
“So fortunate to have such supportive friends,” Beth writes about the girls.
In the picture, they are holding the book titled Coco and Stephen Together Forever. The cover features two adorable-looking kittens. This is very on brand, as apparently Beth has fostered 3,000 animals in her time. In fact, her social media is filled to the brim with pictures of cats. So, the book revolving around animals makes total sense.
