Brad Paisley is not just a country superstar, but he is also an animal advocate. Recently, he learned of a potential data center coming to Nashville, Tennessee. Unfortunately, it could impact the Nashville Zoo, thus the animals that go with it. Now, he is ready to rally and save them. Keep reading for more details on how he will fight, along with so many more advocates.

Brad Paisley Is Not Backing Down

The one thing about celebrities and reality stars is that when they find a worthy cause, they will jump on it. Such is the case with Brad Paisley and the Nashville Zoo. Data centers are regularly popping up everywhere, and there is some concern regarding this. Despite the concern for them, they are allegedly not cause for concern, as the company behind them said  they’ve “safely operated data centers near neighborhoods, schools, daycare centers, and businesses … with no complaints or health issues.”

However, that does not ease the pain of knowing that this one is popping up next door to a beloved zoo. The DC Blox Data Center will be a 69,220-square-foot facility. Yet, it is not sitting well with Brad and hundreds of thousands of concerned citizens, so they are stepping up. Over 360,000 signatures have come in opposing DC Blox, and it won’t end there. A Change.org petition is where folks are flocking to in order to have their voices heard. As for Brad Paisley, he took to social media to express his disdain for what was happening. He even put the link to the petition in his bio.

Now, the company setting up the data center is attempting to make it clear that they are adhering to all guidelines. They have said they will “adhere to all federal and local environmental regulations.” However, it does not appeal to anyone who opposes the project and believes this will cause more harm than good. Rick Schwartz, who is the CEO of the Nashville Zoo, has taken issue with DC Blox.

    No Communication

Per the Nashville Zoo Ceo, DC Blox has not reached out to speak with them. Therefore, he needs the public to help him fight against the data center:

“We want the community to do exactly that, to stand with us to help fight against this data center. There’s got to be a better place that it can go instead of around the No. 1 attraction that’s focused on animals and children.”

When fans and followers saw Brad Paisley’s Instagram Reel, they immediately hopped to the comments:

    • We are standing with you @nashvillezoo We don’t want the data center next to us either!
    • Thank you for speaking out! I signed the petition.
    • Thank you for using your platform in this way!! 👏
    • The silent noise heard by animals that we can’t hear, they can hear…. It will kill the animals, the stress it will bring the animals…..

Some fans did not care for Brad Paisley’s suggestion to build the centers elsewhere. Yet, he was speaking from the heart and just wanted to save the animals. No one can fault him for that.

Had you heard about this, and do you agree that the data center should not be built? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
